Price verification

A price on this site is a claim about what a provider's page said on a date. This is the process that produces the claim.

What counts as a source

1. The provider's public pricing page, captured and archived.
2. The provider's checkout flow, walked to the payment step without purchase, for fees that appear only there.
3. The provider's terms, refund and cancellation pages.
4. Written answers from the provider's support team, quoted.
5. State pharmacy-board licence lookups for fulfilment pharmacies.

Other comparison sites, forum posts and search-engine answers are never sources for a price. They may prompt us to check a provider.

Cadence

Every record is re-checked within 30 days of its last verification. A record that misses that window is labelled "verification overdue" on every page where it appears and is dropped from rankings and comparisons by the build itself; no editor has to remember.

Figures given to us by a provider or seen elsewhere; displayed with this label only, never ranked.

Verification overdue

Previously verified, now older than 30 days.

On the seed list; no profile.

Changes and history

When a checked price differs from the record, the old value is appended to the provider's price history with the date and source; nothing is overwritten. The dataset version number increases and the change is listed on the data page.
